4G Integrated Macro Base Station

A carrier-grade LTE eNodeB that integrates the Baseband Unit (BBU) and Radio Remote Head (RRH) in a single ruggedized enclosure. The Signaltron 4G Integrated Macro Base Station is purpose-built for deployment with minimal site complexity and dependable wide-area coverage. Ideal for sites where you need macro performance without the hassle of separate cabinetized gear.

Delivers standards-compliant 4G/LTE access for smartphones, tablets, modems, and IoT devices. Users can make voice calls (VoLTE), video calls, and use broadband data with SIMs provisioned on your network. The eNodeB connects to your EPC/IMS, on-prem, cloud, or data center, via secure IP backhaul. For private LTE networks, we offer it with the Signaltron Core for a complete network.

Why an Integrated BBU + RRH?

Less is more for coverage and efficiency, less to install, less to maintain and less to fail.

  • No fronthaul headaches: Eliminates external CPRI/eCPRI (or RF) links between BBU and RRH. One box, one IP backhaul, fewer points of failure and simpler timing sync design.
  • Faster rollouts: Smaller footprint, no cabins, one cabinet, and single-enclosure power simplifies site preparation and installation; perfect for remote or space-constrained locations.
  • Lower total cost: Reduced materials (no separate BBU cabin/cabinet, fronthaul fiber, or long coax runs), lower energy use, and streamlined O&M.

Ideal for deployments along linear corridors, like highways, railway tracks, tunnels, pipelines, etc. Compact form factor allows mounting on existing infrastructure like masts and poles. Also mountable on compact masts without cabins.

Powered by Signalchip's highly integrated and power-efficient 4G System on a Chip (SoC), the Base Station offers higher performance at a significantly lower power.
